A: Polycarbonate (PC) sheet has far higher impact resistance, it is shatterproof and can be cold bent without cracking. Black acrylic (PMMA) is rigid but brittle, easy to crack when bent or under strong impact. PC is preferred for machine safety guards, acrylic is more for decorative signage.

A: Our black solid PC sheet comes with UV stabilized coating. It effectively slows down aging and yellowing for both indoor and outdoor applications. Continuous long-term exposure under strong sunlight will still cause slight aging over many years.

A: Yes. It can be drilled with standard metal drill bits and cold bent at room temperature. Preheating is recommended for tight-radius bending to avoid stress cracks.

Q7: Does the sheet come with protective film?

A: Yes. Double-sided PE protective film is attached on both surfaces to prevent scratches during transport and machining. Please peel off the film after finishing fabrication.
