Before installing the endurance board, the reserved joint should be determined first. The sealant connection can be static (immovable) or dynamic (movable). When planning, consideration should be given to various possible common displacements, expansion, compression, shear, etc.


The sealant joint is theoretically planned to the theoretical size. However, tolerances not only exist in the production process of bonded materials, but also in their placement process. These tolerances will increase or decrease the width of the theoretical joint size, which should be particularly valued in joint planning due to tolerances in production resulting in smaller joints. If the tolerances in the production process are not taken into account, the resulting joint localization is more likely to lead to failure. When the reserved joint is too small, the expected displacement is stable, because the PC endurance board has the characteristics of Thermal expansion. So this cramped reserved joint can accommodate the displacement that larger reserved joints can accommodate. Although there are always tolerances in production, they cannot be determined, but they have to be considered in the joint plan. The manufacturing tolerance value should be added to the determined total joint displacement value. If the tolerance cannot be determined or determined, the absolute minimum value of the joint size must be determined.


When installing PC endurance plate, the thickness of the plate and the impact of Thermal expansion shall be fully considered, and sufficient embedding amount shall be reserved. During summer installation, the reserved embedding amount can be appropriately reduced; When installing in winter, it is necessary to increase the reserved embedding amount. To check whether the surface of the skeleton is flat, if there are welding scars or burrs on the skeleton, it is necessary to replace the skeleton; The skeleton must be very dry, especially without any volatile solvents. If drilling holes on the board, the distance between the holes should be appropriate, not too large or too small. If the spacing is too large, it will cause a large accumulated thermal expansion length, resulting in insufficient reserved space; If the spacing is too small, it will limit the movement of the sheet and cause excessive stress concentration. Before installing the PC endurance board, remove the protective film from the fixed part, as the protective film can have a certain impact on the combination of the endurance board and the sealant. However, it is necessary to perform secondary lamination until the installation is completed before removing it. Do not use sharp tools to lift the protective film after clamping it inside the molding board. If it is necessary to bend the PC endurance board, the bending radius cannot be greater than 180 times the thickness of the board.


When ordering PC boards for greenhouse engineering, manufacturers can be required to produce them according to the required length and width to reduce the workload of cutting boards on the construction site.


(1) The cutting of PC boards can be done using cutting saws, hacksaws, wallpaper knives, etc. Do not tear off the protective film during cutting, and remove sawdust from the board after cutting.


(2) There is a protective film on both sides of the PC board to distinguish between the front and back sides. Generally, the side with the logo printed on it has a UV protection effect, and this side faces outward during installation.


(3) Sealing treatment at both ends of the PC board. Before installing the PC board, first lift the protective film around 50mm, remove the original sealing strips at both ends of the opening, replace the top with sealing waterproof tape (such as aluminum foil sealing tape), and the bottom with breathable tape.


(4) Fix the PC board onto the framework with self tapping screws, with rubber blocks placed between the PC board and the framework, and large washers placed between the nail cap and the board, with a fixed spacing of 0.5m. Use PC board specific sealant as the sealant, and remove the protective film after installation.
