Acrylic, also known as plexiglass, can replace plexiglass, can be combined with aluminum-plastic panel profiles, can meet the needs of

businesses, light boxes made of acrylic, with good light transmission performance, rich color, long service life, and other characteristics.

It is an important plastic polymer material developed earlier, with good transparency, chemical stability and weather resistance, easy dyeing,

easy processing, beautiful appearance, and has a wide range of applications in the construction industry. Plexiglass products can usually be

divided into cast plates, extruded plates and molded plastics.

Acrylic plate use:

Acrylic products are made of acrylic pellets, sheets or resins and other raw materials through a variety of different processing methods, and

with a variety of different materials and functions of the spare parts to be assembled into acrylic products. As for the commonly heard acrylic

fiber, acrylic cotton, acrylic yarn, acrylic nylon, etc., refers to the synthetic fiber made of acrylic acid polymerization, and acrylic products are not

related.

Acrylic plate features:

Crystal-like transparency, transmittance of more than 92%, soft light, clear vision, acrylic with dye coloring has a good color effect. Acrylic sheet

has excellent weather resistance, high surface hardness and surface gloss, and better high temperature performance. The acrylic sheet has good processing

properties, which can be thermoformed or machined. Transparent acrylic sheet has a transmittance comparable to that of glass, but the density is only half

that of glass. In addition, it is not as fragile as glass, and even if it is destroyed, it will not form sharp fragments like glass.

Acrylic plate features:

Hardness is one of the parameters that can best reflect the production process and technology of cast acrylic sheet, and is an important

part of quality control. The hardness can reflect the purity of raw material PMMA, the weatherability and high temperature resistance of the

plate. The hardness directly affects whether the plate will shrink and bend and deform, and whether the surface will be cracked during

processing. Hardness is one of the hard indicators to judge the quality of acrylic plate, and the average Mohs hardness value is about 8 or

9 degrees.

Mechanical properties of acrylic sheet:

Polymethyl methacrylate has good comprehensive mechanical properties, in the forefront of general plastics, tensile, bending, compression

strength are higher than polyolefin, also higher than polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride, etc., impact toughness is poor, but also slightly better than

polystyrene. The mechanical properties of the poured bulk polymerized polymethyl methacrylate sheet (such as the aviation plexiglass sheet) are

higher, such as tensile, bending and compression, and can reach the level of engineering plastics such as polyamide and polycarbonate.
